Marian (Miri) Rosenfeld spent her life as a dedicated artist creating hundreds of watercolors,monoprints,etchings lithographs
and pictures.American born, she immigrated to israel in 1970 to study at Bezalel Art Academy in Jerusalem. After garduation,
she continued to take classes for the next 28 years, developing and fine tuning her skills and technique. Rosenfeld`s work
has been exhibited in galleries, exhibitions, and private collections in the United States, Israel, and Europe. Rosenfeld
has been awarded several prizes for her sensitive portrayals of the human figure, portraits and landscapes of israel.
After undergoing treatment for breast cancer in 1997, Miri went to Florida to visit her twin sister Gail Rubinfeld. While
in Florida, Miri went to visit a center where women living with cancer took art classes, yoga, and other group activities
that promoted strength and healing. Miri`s friends, family, and many other wonderful people helped make Miri`s vision a reality.
Miri`s belief in the healing power of art inspired the opening of Ma`agan, The Jerusalem Support Center for People Living
with Cancer.
Miris art continues to be exhibited and sold around the world.
